You leave from San Nicolò harbour and take the cycle path along the lake shore towards Torbole sul Garda till you come to the bridge over the River Sarca. Before the bridge, turn left, following directions for Arco. Cycle along the river bank for a couple of kilometres until you come to a bike grill on your left. Here you leave the cycle path, cross the main road and turn left. Head along the asphalt road before, after a few hundred metres, taking the first left. Cross secondary roads among vineyards until you come to a stop sign. Here you turn left in the direction of the hamlet of Grotta, then continue towards Sant'Alessandro, one of the outlying districts of Riva del Garda. When you come to the stop sign at the old church, turn left. On the right-hand side of the road there is a cycle path which takes you back to the starting point, San Nicolò harbour.
The main towns in Garda Trentino - Riva del Garda, Arco, Torbole sul Garda, Nago – are connected by several urban and intercity bus lines which will take you to the starting point of tours or in the immediate surroundings.
